David studied at the Laurea University of Applied Sciences and the Jyväskylä University in Finland where he gained the qualification of Master of Sports Science, Biology of Physical Activity.

​He is a registered independent private physiotherapist with over 15 years’ experience , mainly specialising in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems within a wide age range.

​

He has worked in the private and public health in Finland and UK in both sports and medical rehabilitation and has a delivery track record within the South East of England, Dorset and recently with the Cardiff & Vale University Board. This breadth of experience has enabled him to learn and develop in a culturally rich environment as well as to appreciate the many variations that exist in understanding and managing pain and patients at an acute level and with advanced levels of chronicity. He also works with local GPs and orthopaedic consultants and refers patients back if tests reveal that they require further examinations or tests to facilitate their quick recovery or management.

He is currently working twice a week at the Benenden Hospital as musculoskeletal and orthopaedics consultant physiotherapist.
